Support & FAQ - Tab Snoozer Lite

Thank you for using Tab Snoozer Lite. This extension is designed to be a distraction-free, privacy-focused tool for tab management.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Where do my tabs go when I snooze them?

Your tabs are closed immediately and stored in your browser’s local storage. They do not go to a server. You can see a list of all your currently snoozed tabs by clicking the extension icon.

2. What happens if I close Chrome before a tab wakes up?

No problem! Chrome keeps track of missed alarms. When you reopen your browser, Tab Snoozer Lite will detect any “past due” tabs and open them immediately.

3. Can I cancel a snooze?

Yes. Click the extension icon to open the popup. Under the Upcoming section, click the “X” next to any tab to remove it from the queue. This will delete the saved URL and cancel the alarm.

4. Does this work in Incognito mode?

By default, Chrome disables extensions in Incognito mode. If you want to snooze Incognito tabs, you must manually enable “Allow in Incognito” in the extension settings (chrome://extensions). Note: A snoozed Incognito tab will reopen in a standard window unless the extension is active in Incognito.

5. Is my data shared?

Never. Tab Snoozer Lite has no tracking, no accounts, and no cloud syncing. All data stays on your machine.
