Privacy Policy for Tab Snoozer Lite

Tab Snoozer Lite was built with a “Privacy First” philosophy. We believe your browsing habits should remain yours and yours alone.

1. Data Collection

Tab Snoozer Lite does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. - No email addresses or accounts are required. - No analytics or tracking scripts (like Google Analytics) are used. - No “phone home” functionality exists within the code.

2. Data Storage

All data required for the extension to function is stored locally on your device using the chrome.storage.local API. This data includes: - The URL of the snoozed tab. - The Title of the snoozed tab. - The timestamp for when the tab should reopen.

This data is never uploaded to a cloud server and never leaves your computer.

3. Data Deletion

• Once a snoozed tab reopens, its record is automatically deleted from your local storage.
• If you manually remove a tab from the “Upcoming” list, it is deleted immediately.
• If you uninstall the extension, Chrome automatically wipes all local data associated with Tab Snoozer Lite.

4. Third-Party Access

Because we do not collect your data, we cannot and do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties.

5. Permissions Justification

• Storage: To remember which tabs you want to reopen.
• Alarms: To trigger the reopening of tabs at your requested time.
• Tabs: To close the current tab when you snooze it and open a new one when the timer expires.
